My goal is for clients to enjoy their homes in safety and comfort, with systems in place to support the activities they wish to pursue. It's also critical to have strategies for dealing with life's messy and mundane realities: meals, laundry, paper, etc.
I know that comfort means different things to different people. I will not impose my own idea of comfort on you. You let me know your goals, and my role is to guide the process so that collaboratively, we'll figure out how to achieve them.
Safety may also mean different things to different people. Here are my goals for safety: clear, stable paths throughout the home and to exits, no trip and fall hazards, no towering stacks that could collapse and cause injury or entrapment, no fire hazards, no conditions that threaten the structural integrity of the home and no conditions that would promote infestation or disease.
I'm available to work in all areas of the home, from attics to basements and everything in between. And yes, I do paper! In fact, paper projects are high on my list of favorites.
Don't know what your goals are? Maybe all you know is that you want things to be different. That's okay, too. I can help you figure out where to start.
My goal for clients in the workplace is for them to function at their best, with systems in place that support their professional goals and responsibilities. I'll be the first to admit that I'm not well-versed in business technology systems, corporate procedures and business administration, so if that's what you need, another organizer may serve you better. But much about the organizing process is universal and can be applied in just about any setting. I have helped clients to be more productive in their work and home offices, classrooms, cubicles and studios.

I can be available to provide direction and support so that you can carry out the necessary tasks at a later time, on your own; or I can be on the phone or Skype with you while you are doing the actual work.

*Although I'm very sympathetic to circumstances which may result in difficult environmental conditions, due to health and safety concerns, I do not accept onsite jobs in which the following conditions exist:
- The building is not structurally sound
- There is no running water, working toilet or electricity
- Pets are aggressive
- There are more animals on site than municipal codes allow
- Heavy cigarette smoke
- There is evidence of rampant rodent infestation throughout the home (an occasional mouse in the kitchen or rat in the garage won't bother me)
- Bed bugs are known to be present
- Hazardous wastes and chemicals are not contained in appropriate receptacles
- Medical waste is not contained in appropriate receptacles
